While Vladimir Semyonovich's hands are still drying, I have invested my current hobby time in research!
I chose a miniature speaker as a pedestal for the bust.
The picture shows that on the small cube with the edge length 5 cm still relatively much place is ...:
So it makes sense to build a gimmick, which also comes on the pedestal.
And what would a singer be without - a microphone!
And since it is a Soviet artist, it should also be a microphone from Soviet production!
Only: Was there something and - if so - which one do I take ...?
First, of course, there were such things, for the Soviet people did not live in caves and had excellent engineers! There were even two competing manufacturers, "Ломо" ("Lomo") and "Октава" ("Octava")!
In particular, the "Lomo" products sold well in the West, because they could not only keep up qualitatively with Western products, but sometimes even transfer them.
And the prices demanded by the Soviet Union were unrivaled!
Now Vladimir Semyonovich has sung in his career in thousands of different microphones - were also "Lomo" and "Oktava" products including?
So I did not paint today, but I did more researches.
And there are uncommonly many photos of Wyssotskij, which show him with a very specific microphone whose design looks at least unusual for western eyes ...:
Also in the Vysotsky Museum (3, Nizhny-Tagansky Tupik | Taganskaya Metro Station, Moscow 109004) ...
... in which, among other things, his beloved "Mercedes" is on display...
... there is such a microphone ...:
Vladimir Semyonovich seems to have had a certain preference for this thing - although there are photos of him on which he uses Western high-price products, for example, "Sennheiser" from Germany or "AKG" from Austria uses.
Many, many mouse clicks later, I finally had a picture revealing the type of microphone I am looking for:
It is a Soviet "Lomo", type 82A-5M ...:
And fortunately, I found this picture that reveals the measurements ...:
I'll build such a thing next week! As a gimmick for the pedestal ...
Cheers
