33. Day, April, 23, 2019
After having spent a day trying to model this micro reasonably presentable, I've realized that my abilities are rather limited - and I NEVER manage to get that complicated shape with the many slits in order to be satisfied.
Here you can see the result of my torment ...:
Compare yourself: There does not match everything!
Before I invest more time in a homeless thing, I threw my "Lomo 82A-5M" in the trash!
Then I looked again in the www for a template that is better to realize. However, it should again be Soviet, match with the time and can be immediately identified by a viewer as a microphone!
I found this here, again a Soviet "Lomo", built from 1976 - and mainly for export to the western foreign countries, which is why the shape corresponds more to the usual in the West optics.
It is the "Lomo PL76" ...:
There are several photos showing Vladimir Semyonovich in 1979 at a concert in the Cultural Palace of Yaroslavl:
The guitar sound picks up a "Lomo 82A-5M" as I've vainly tried to sculpt, and he sings into a "Lomo PL76" as I'm going to build it now ...:
First, I made a "FIMO" ball and baked hard in the oven.
I then covered the ball with gauze - these stitches also fit to scale!
Next, I've already cut the handle, it consists of two different pieces of wire.
And then I built the outrigger to which the thing will later be attached.
These outriggers are extendable with an internal extension piece, d. d. variable, and the extension piece is locked with a knurled screw that I made from "Milliput".
The outrigger itself is made of flower wire, so nice and light!
The shape of the handle at the back of the outrigger can be seen on the next Fotos very - the thing is of course also of Soviet provenance...:
Here everything together ...:
Looks much better ...!
Cheers
