Here's my latest work. The scottish soldier from JMD Mianitures, 54mm.

Excellent painting Marcin. This is a beautiful figure and you've really brought it to life. The weathering is outstanding. Just one minor point though, the chevron on the lower right sleeve should be either blue or red. It represents each year of service in the Army during the war. Those soldiers who enlisted in 1914 have a red stripe and a blue stripe was added for each subsequent year of service. Since you've called him "Scotsman 1914" I suggest you add a red stripe.

Tony-> I was convinced that the chevron was gold. I've looked over the books and you correctly pointed out my mistake. Once again thanks, but I have no chance of repaint it.

This figure sure is popular, and so it should be. A great pose, and you have done an excellent job with the old brushes.

Nice work Marcin on a great figure.

I don't think the overseas service chevrons were inrtroduced until 1917 so you might want to re title your Jock aswell as repaint the chevron. Anyway it looks good :)

imponujaca miniatura, udany dobor kolorow, ja i moj partner jestesmy pod wrazeniem. Mam rowniez do ciebie pytanie czy w Polsce rowniez mozna zakupic takie miniatury do malowania? Jesli tak to bylabym wdzieczna jesli podsunal bys mi jakies adresy internetowe? Probowalam znalezc ale z miernym skutkiem, jesli juz znalazlam to plastik i nie koniecznie zolnierze :(
