Hi, Just completed 1st part of 2 vignette series based on Alpine figures last night. This is Wunsche planning to rescue Meyer at Kharkov Feb 43. Any comment welcome.
Happy Modelling.
Allan
I dont believe we met on this forum before but looks like we are interested in the same subjects! What a coincidence too, that our works are both in winter clothings, and posted back to back.
Stunning work, both on figures and section of wall.
I am from Hong Kong but I have been based in UK for a long long time. I grew up in mainland China so I speak Mandarin too. I cant help but infer from your surname that your mother tongue is Mandarin? Pardon me if I am wrong.
When you said you observe my work quite a bit, you mean you read my posts in the past? If so thanks a lot! You are obviously a more profficient painter than I am and I have a lot to learn from you.
The figures are painted beautifully and with the great setting you have placed them on gives a very atmopheric feel to the scene, great piece of work Allan.
Hi MJ - 당신을 감사하십시오, hope to meet you again if I got the chance to goto Seoul. Are you attending any show this year?
Hi Marcin - It is your motorbike vigette with this Alpine great coat figure that inspired me
Hi Steve - thanks for the encouragement.. will work harder
Hi Michael - Next time if I goto London will contact you. Are you attending Euro this year? Yes, I do speak Mandarin/Cantonese and many other Chinese dialect..as Malaysian. Currently I am based in Vietnam - so a bit more time to model during weekend.. unless my 2 boys bug me
Yeah sure, Allen! Let me know! You can reach me at [email protected]
I am not sure if I will be in Euro this year. I have missed out on every year so far due to stupid time tables at univeristy. If I ever go, it will be my first
Awesome work!
The atmosphere of the work is very wonderful.
The color of the soldier's uniform is very wonderful.
This figure is quite small.
However you're painting very well.
I liked it very much.
I congratulate completion.
