Everyone, hello.:)
I have completed my lastest model at last.

(BREAKFAST AT STALINGRAD VERLINDEN 120mm)

I completed both hands and painted a knife and bread.
Painting of a figure had ended with this, but I gave a light exaggerated sprayer to the whole uniform of a figure.
I used VALLEJYO - COLOR for this.
I blew the color which rusted into the whole and scattered the material of the snow about a ground work.

I was thinking this figure would end a little earlier, but time was needed fairly.

I'm thinking maybe it could be painted quite more politely than the front.

When a comment from everyone and advice can be heard, I'm happy.
I'd like to make those future's feedback.

Mitsutaka.

Thank you very much, Carl.

Hi! Carl.:)
Thank you very much for your kind comment.
I also wanted to contribute SBS of a ground work, but the whole was played by the rusty color and snow was just scattered, so I have omitted.
I think maybe I should paint in VALLEJYO - COLOR from the beginning by an idea for me.
Thank you for liking it.;)

Mitsutaka.:)

Thank you very much, Sam.

Thank you very much for your kind comment, Sam.:)
I was thinking the oil paints tended to paint the first inside.
I think that was a correct answer since blending.
However I had trouble applying from there, piling up and removing gloss.
I'm thinking this thing is future's problem.
Thank you for liking it.;)

Mitsutaka.:)

Thank you very much, Joseph.

Joseph、I'm happy because you like it.:)
When my coat is your help, I'm very happy.
Thank you for also expecting the next work.
I'd like to make an effort in order to respond to your expectation.;)

Mitsutaka.:)

Superb painting my friend, you have captured the charachter and mood superbly well.

Great job, well done!

Dave

Thank you very much, David.

Thank you for liking it, David.:)
Could I express the atmosphere of Stalingrad?
If I meet, I'm happy.:)
The beginning was being painted by oil paints, but I have blown VALLEJYO COLOR finally.
When you also expect it of the next work, I'm happy, my friend.;)

Mitsutaka.:)

Hi Mitsutaka!

I like your angry soldier.:)

Note: No SS unit fought at Stalingrad I guess, I dont have any source...
Did you have?

Thank you very much, Pedro.

I'm sorry, I don't know the meaning.
Doesn't it mean that he is hungry?:)
Thank you for liking it, Pedro.:)
It seems that SS5 division (WIKING division) was put in.
They're an enlisted soldier.
It wasn't detailed about Stalingrad, but I saw a movie (Stalingrad).(y)

Mitsutaka.;)

Dear Mitsutaka, I mean hunger, not angry:D I am sorry. Sometimes this happens to me.:)(y)
SS Wiking??? I go search...

Thank you very much, Pedro.

You're welcome, Pedro.:)
There are a lot of mistakes of typing me, too.
The right cheek is full of this figure.
I think bread is probably kept in the mouth.

I checked it in WIKIPEDIA about a WIKING division, too.
they are members of SS, so morale seems to have been high.
Germany has been lacking in the fighting power actually, so they seem to have recruited a soldier from a foreign country, don't they?;)

Mitsutaka:)

I suspect SS wiking at Stalingrad for one reason, from october 1942 to december, Wiking Division fought defensive battles at Grosny area and suffer heavy casulaties men´s and equipment. After the encirclement of 6TH Army at Stalingrad because Russian counteroffensive in November 1942, the position of Army group A became vulnerable and in Middle of December the Army group was in full retreat.
Hitler was persuaded by Erich von Manstein to pull mobile troops and form a counterattack to force the rescue of the 6th army at Stalingrad pocket.
After this events, the Wiking division was ordered to pull out from Grosny front and move north towards Rostov.
This is what I know about SS wiking in days of Stalingrad pocket, but I will read a book I have here about all history of this Division and soon I give you more news, if you want my friend.:)
Or if you want I send you 2 books by email:: "History of 5th SS Wiking Division 1941-1945" by Rupert Butler and "Stalingrad the Inferno Cauldron" by Stephen Walsh both in pdf.

Well done Mitsutaka, very nice finish.
But I have to be honest with you, there are two things I don't like, the color of the lips and eyebrows.
Greetings, Christos.

I love the tone of the skin and uniform, Mitsutaka. Very flat and natural textures. Gradation on the skintone is very smoother than your previous projects.

Like Christos, There are two things I don't like. First one is the color of the lips, I think it looks too pink for man's lip, so I think it should be a little bit darker, pink should be one-point highlight on the lip.

Second is the position of the eyes. It looks a little bit cross-eyed. The middle of the pupils should be place on the same line of the edges of the mouth(or lip). The left pupil should be place a little bit left, or the right one should be place at the position of a little bit right.

The rest of the elements are very well done so these things are noticeable.

Thank you very much, Pedro.

I'm thankful for valuable information and kindness.(y)
English can't be read, so I think those material can't be managed.
(This English uses software of translation.)
however your information was study very much.;)
Thank you very much,my friend.
I was a AFV modeler before, so I was interested to check the military situation, but I don't feel the enthusiasm which is so now.
It may be the cause for which I took the year.
