This is Verlinden's 200 mm Guard Artillery Officer Bust. It's painted in oils over acrylics. This has always been one of my favorite Napoleonic sculpts. I'm donating the figure to the auction at October's Chicago Show.

That looks good David, its one of the nicer looking Verlinden ones. I like the fact that the shading and lighting are not too overdone.......yours dominic

You have a very clean painting style, which I happen to like, and your facial shadowing/highlighting shows very smooth transitions, Painting skills such as yours deserve larger images!! Well done!

The laces are non-metalic oils. The buttons are gold printer's ink. The chin scales and cartridge box strap chain and decoration are Testor's gold enamel.
