Hi Christian!
Good looking German.
Allow me some considerations:
The uniform collar if you choose dark green like you do in eupalletes and the buttons with other fielgrey color, you can use RML Grey from tamiya that is an accurate color for that, the bust would be more contrasted and the final look it will be more real.
This is my humble point of view.

Yes Pedro, you're right, the collar should be a dark green.
For the buttons I have searched differents ways to paint them, I notice your advice for the next one

Dear Christian,
painting with oils this bust looks great !
I have only a question how it was possible geting this matt varnish result at the uniform when painting with oils.
Painting with oils the dry colours usually are are little glossy and a little bit bacon-like.
I have used several matt mediums/overcoats in the past.The last was from Dawler&Rowney.
The result was also not perfect.
It would be a great help for me to find a matt medium or spray easy to use and getting a matt uniform stuff.

Hello Thomas,
I only apply thin layers of oils and let it drying 2 or 3 days. I know the work is longer but that's why I have a lot of figures in progress to always have something to paint.
