I recently finished this fellow, started 2 years ago. He's painted in acrylics. I misplaced:thumb down: the pieces for the back of each mocassin but I'm sure they're around here somewhere.

Thanks for looking.

Mike

I like him very much. Must feel good to finally finish him after 2 years. This is one I hope to do some day as well. He is on my short list of 54 mm kits now.

Nicely done Mike. Especially the face and the beadwork on the side of the trousers. well done. (y)

Dave, John-

Thank you for the feedback. I started him 2 years back but didn't paint at all last winter, so that, plus a trip to the Chicago show a few weeks back, really helped put me in the mood to dive into my gigantic gray army again.

Dave- He's an easy one to paint. Nothing tricky about assembly, except the bowstring. The bow & arrows are very soft, easily bendable/breakable. After a couple of attempts, which nearly turned into disasters, I wussed out & decided to go with the invisible bowstring.

Thanks again.

Great paintwork on this one.
For the pictures. The background doesn't do justice to your work. It distrackt the eye from the figure. Something more quite like a blue or white card.

Marc-

Thank you for your comment, although the only thing better than a finished figure for me is a large slice of red ripe seedless watermelon.

I'm using a new camera & was concentrating more on getting things in focus & didn't notice the background at first. Then, laziness set in & I didn't feel like reshooting. That won't happen in the future because you're right, it is a distraction.

Thanks again.

John-

Thank you for your comment. It's always good to finish one off but now I have to decide what to paint next.
