I got this for a bargain price a little while ago from Sambaman ( thanks Jay! ) and after Euro started working on it!

Used an Airbrush to lay down the 4 basic colours and then I have been working on him between other bits and bobs, probably 6 sessions and about 12 hours to this

The skin areas are virtually finished and hair and eyebrows are to do ....

Thats a cracking start on the face Mark !

I remember this bust from years ago,Derek Holmes an old freind sculpted this but who is sadly no longer with us.... He knew how to sculpt an expression

Great to see one of Derek's old pieces again. He was certainly a big influence on me when I first started sculpting. I still enjoy seeing his work and seeing it painted to such a high level has really elevated this piece.
