I started work on this wonderful 75 mm sculpture of Riccardo Cerilli and you can see herein wip the coat is finished in 60/70% and I have to pause for a few hours for work I wanted to show it anyway
I gave some of the highlights with oil titanium white W & N and more contrasted some shadow
The surface is so nearly over, less than minor adjustments to color cloth.
I painted the eyes (even if you do not see very well in the photos)
I gave those based on acrylic saddle using the basic red, while the edges gold have received a mixture of yellow ocher and uniform English, also acrylics.

many of the colors you see on the piece are fresh and I'll be retouching when dry, but I wanted to show the progress of work.
