Hello Planeteers!.
Here's some more progress pics of my National garde officer.
the coat lights and shadows are done, some outlining too, just few dettails to go over.
the arms finally decided to change the smoking pipe arm and added an arm which will be holding a walking stick, i really like the pose and i am happy with it.
the arms are basecoated only, still need lights and shadows.
Once i finish the figure i will post all the mixes.
Best regards

Looks good, as per usual Daniel...
I really like how you approached the blue of the jacket. I'll be waiting for the recipes with my pen ready ;)

Keep it up

Colin

Hi Daniel,
You are supposed to be; polishing your shoes, pressing your clothes and writing your wedding speech. Not painting figures!!!
But good work here on this piece Mate.
Cheers,
Keith

Thanks Colin!
I am happy withthe blue , turn out to be the right mix for me,unfortunatelly books and sources on internet have so many variations of the colors that at the end one has to decide which one to choose from.
Recipee from the chef's kitchen ;) :
Base: a drop of citadel Necron Abyss , a drop of Prince August "Bleu Moyen" (vallejo medium blue) and a dab of Andrea Navy Blue (NAC-11)
Lights: Base + bleu moyen, last lights added a litle bit of dark sky blue.
shadows: base plus Navy blue, last shadows used only a drop of navy blue and 4 drops of distilled water.
Outlining of the coat used pure black.
Cheers my friend.

Daniel... Getting married? Are you sure? :nailbiting: From now on, you'll catch hell if you spend too much time or money painting :sneaky:;)

Seriously though, Congratulations my friend... best of luck. It's really not all that bad
