WIP 40mm Trident Designs Saintonge Grenadiers

Hello planeteers,
Here's some pics of another batch of 40mm troopers.
The Regiment Saintonge served at Yorktown and was positioned on the right of the german Regiment in French service, Royal Deux -Ponts.
i decided to paint these troopers in the old 1776 regulation uniform, Aurore facings and sky blue collar.
sources tell that about 200 troopers of the saintonge regiment still wore the old uniform at Yorktown.

I made a little bit more progress, added mustaches, painted the pompons and added a little bit of citadel orange wash to darkened the facings , i will apply the highlights later on.

Hello folks,
I finished the faces and hats today,still need to work on the cockades and lips for the faces.
i will follow by working on the light on the coats next.

I have to make a correction, this Regiment was paired out with the Soissonois Regiment.
Anyways, lapels are done, painted the x belts and painted one of the cream white coats.

Almost done with these grenadiers.
Hats, coats, facings all done, I need to finish the muskets and they will go directly to their positions on the battlefield.

Hello folks...
I have practically finished these grenadiers, last minute addition, decided to put an officer in the new 1779 regulation uniform which will be giving the sergeant orders.
i think it adds some interest to the whole scene.
i will post more pics of the troopers on the battlefield once i am finished with the officer.
