Completed Critique Mongol Bust

Its been awhile since I posted anything, but have finally got around to finishing this fine bust from Pegaso. I did a few little changes such as extend his goatee and the horse hair plume so that they looked as though thy were blowing in the wind, and heat treated the tassles from his helmet to suit the wind blown effect.

You've brought out the character in that face perfectly too.

I also like the finish you've applied to the bow and the perfect contrast of the red silk shirt against the leather.

Glad you like him. I really tried to push a few areas in my painting with this one. He started as a quick project, but ended up taking a lot longer than I would have thought.

Yep Ben, been busy with some commissions, but now in that final frantic dash to have kits ready, where I somehow, always mange to do my best work for the year

Hi Smudger, glad you like him. I tried to get a faded look to the red and add a weave to the fabric, still hard to see in the close up, but it was worth a try
