Hello planeteers,
Here's another addition to the existing french troops at Yorktown.
It consist of 2 british infantry figures from Front Rank Figurines.
I have been contemating the idea of converting figures to add a more interesting variety to the diorama and poses you may not find on the french side.
So, i have been wanting to try this conversion and challenge myself to make these chaps uniform from Brits to a frenchie style or 'a la Francese' cut and style.
So, this regiment will be Armagnac, who was station in the island of Guadelupe and had an active particilation in the siege of Savannah and contributed later on to the 800 'Marines' brought from the west Indies as an ad hoc troops at Yorktown.
As for now, lots of clappimg and fiing, fun sculpting work for later.

Hello folks,
Coats are almost done, just need final lights.
Vest, pants and gaiters are done, sky blue facings done.
I am very happy with the result on the whites, perhaps can't really see it on the picture but i 've use 3 different whites on the figure.
Coming alomg nice and will be finished soon.
I've also built the wood canteen and cords from scratch, not bad for first attempt.
Cheers
