    Yes Roy it's an iron hat something as a helmet with a largest neck guard. Sometimes it had place for plumes on back. ;)

    Stefano has emailed me photos of his latest scratch built figure, Sir John Douglas, from the Crimean war 1856. Stefano stated that the figure also has a pelice which he will show us later. The figure was sculpted from a photo, taken from that period. It was sculpted all from epoxyputty...
