Hopefully we'll get the busby finished this weekend and then work on that black tunic.

Thanks. Lot of work to do. Tunic has only a base coat of black. Busby fur and bag as well as plume need attention. Have to do some more work on the braiding.

Working through Michael Miniatures bust with my usual grumbles and groans......

I love the subject matter and the attention to detail. I'm not big on exposed teeth and feel they draw the eyes away from the rest of the work.

Beautiful sculpt. What bothers me is the czapska looks a bit too small. It looks as though even walking would dislodge it off his head.

Errr... I believe the plume is attached to the side of the helmet as per the photo. But aside from that it is a beautiful figure!!!!

I agree with Guy on the beadwork. My references on Native Americans probably equals Guy's. Like Guy I too have traced my heritage back to the Natives of Southern Poland Krakow Region... Beadwork is tiresome but if you take the patience necessary it enhances the overall composition.
