    Thorvin The Great by Enigma

Wow! What a great job on such a wee fella. I tell you Rich I am inspired. I have that kit laying around somewhere. It'll be fun just trying to get close to that great paint job and setting! Very well done!

    Hussar Bust WIP

I have a feeling the skin tones are picking up a lot of the red from the uniform. I've seen this happen often. Painting overall is superb. Nice work Richard!

Well done. Nice ruddy skin tones that compliment the reddish hair. Good work on the blackish blue of the Union jacket and kepi.

    Disappointing judgment regarding Ebay

Mike, that 'forced' payment via PayPal is circumvented everyday. All you do is ask the Seller if he will accept an M.O.. 99 out of 100 times he will say yes. It's legal tender. If ebay sends an inquiry to the Seller the Seller says the Buyer simply paid cash and picked it up. But ebay never...

    What ever happend to?

Phil Bracco paid a terrible price for using A&B epoxy. It was absorbed through his skin and he was hospitalized for a long time. Thankfully he recovered but cannot work with the medium ever again. He's a great guy and his skills are missed.

    Chasseur Trumpeter-Demi Ronde

Yep. Nice work. Keep it up! My first flat is in a trash dump somewhere under tons of well deserved debris. If it looked as good as yours I would still have it.

Thank you for all the kind words Rich, Quang and John. You guys are tempting me... maybe after my eyes uncross....

So I think I'm gonna go back to busts....

These are from last year. The Blackfoot is from sorely missed Harton with minor modifications. The Pawnee is classic PM. Pawnee warriors frequently painted their upper eyelids red.

    Every 10 years I do a 28mm

and I think this is my last one. Working this scale with old eyes is not half the fun it used to be. This is a plastic Citadel figure from the Warhammer game. Jo Sanyo, oils, inks and Mr. Metal along with a suitable amount of synthetic sugar....

    Floor Polish

Crystal Cote/Coat dries quickly and is impervious to washes whether acrylic or oil. Deep shadows can be painted directly over it and it never yellows. And of course with using floor applications you must worry about people tracking in dirt or just plain scuffing the figure when they walk on it.
