    Review 1/6th Wyatt Earp

Hello Marcelo, Sorry I have to explain this again. Perhaps the trouble was with my use of the word "unauthorized". When I was asked to do this sculpt, as i recall it, the idea was to to do a sculpt of a sheriff as in the movies - both guns blazing. For me, that eliminated it ever being a...

Gorgeous sculpt. It is a pity that the outstanding paint job is uncredited.....

The chameleon adds interest and it is taken from a period photo. I am with Taesung here, it is a fantastic piece. Kudos to both sculptor and painter...... :wideyed::woot:(y)(y)

    Review 1/6th Wyatt Earp

Not to worry Matt. The figure is "legit" in the legal sense. It is the title 'Wyatt Earp' That I was never comfortable with. I sculpted him as a sheriff - with too many guns all going off at once. Pretty silly really. But that is what the client wanted. Generally speaking, when i do a historical...

    Review 1/6th Wyatt Earp

Let's be clear: this most definitely is NOT a sculpt of Wyatt Earp! I never called this sculpt "Wyatt Earp". It was done for a toy company many years ago. It is a "Hyperbolic Hollywood" sheriff - not the kind of thing I would ever sculpt as a "historical" figure. The face is not Wyatt Earp. If...

    U-Boat Captains leather jacket

It depends on which kind of U-boat leather coat you are talking about. The smaller jackets came in gray or dark brown/black. The larger coat came in gray.

Thanks to everybody for the kind comments and likes! Zastrow Cuirassier, thanks for the great photos! Most of those are new to me. I will take a look at the helmet - it is not finalized anyway. But I must admit that, while I have done a few WWII German helmets, the differences between it and...
