well i finished one! not very detailed but i just wanted to get it printable. ran it through Nettfab studio and corrected a few leaks. now its printable. i set the scale at 1.12th so it would be 6 inches if printed. atb --tim :)

not aware of any Richard but my Tutor at University last year said there was software to turn the xbox kinnect system in to mocap. not sure where though. he said its the same set up that the system uses for games. atb --tim

tested my other meshes like old Pun down below and this one; no leaks or errors so i guess dynamesh does work after all. thats re-assuring. only thing i dont know yet is how to get wall thickness. i sculpt on the mesh and it stays the same thickness. need to investigate a bit more i guess...

thts certainly the benfit of digital to a kit maker/freelancer. there's another firm i have seen folks saying they had used called Ownage who do prints. folks seemed well disposed toward them. maybe worth a quote for you Richard if their stuff turns out to be a good as rumored. they print...

i looked at the site that Jon gave us today and spent some time reading on there-then i down loaded Nettfab studio for free and loaded up a mesh i am doing in stl format, just to see. now dynamesh is supposed to self seal and re-topo. i found 336 holes in the mesh!! really cant...

no but to a kit producer, wax would be mold friendly though. wonder if any companies are doing solid wax prints?? .... I think eventually you may be able to sell solid plastic/abs figs once prices level out. we've all seen the new games console dive from say 500 to 99 plus a free game...
