You're very kind to say so. Thank you. :)

WIP Critique 99% there. Minor rework of Young's Fallschirmjäger (now a medic)

Gents, thank you. (The bench was tidied up before taking the photos ;)) I still find blending acrylics a be-atch of a job. If you saw the face in close-up it would be like looking at an oil sketch...

WIP Critique 99% there. Minor rework of Young's Fallschirmjäger (now a medic)

All done bar the shouting. I'll look at it again with a fresh pair of eyes in a few days and see if anything jumps out at me that needs correcting. Comments welcome (as always!)

    Young's Templar Knight

Hi folks. Brutal honesty , please. This piece has been specifically commissioned by a work colleague so i am keen to correct any potential errors you might see that I may have overlooked. The base is yet to be made (he wants a sandstone block in a particular style...). No idea what to charge him...

Young Miniatures Special Edition March 2013

"Badge Police"! :) I take your point, but if I'm shelling out up to £40 of my hard-earned I don't really want to have to indulge in too much conversion/reversion work. ;)

Young Miniatures Special Edition March 2013

Love the tankie. A great pity he didn't sort out the cap badge and get it right. I cannot understand how such talent can make such a blindingly obvious mistake....

Love the richness of the colours chosen. That scarf texture is tops; it 'looks' like wool. :)

Can we have an L85A2 and an SLR please? ;)

    Live Resin Larger Scales Hk416

I like the idea of 1/3 to make up a wee collection for the office. I miss the old L&S full scale kits but regulations after Dunblane meant they could no longer be sold... ho hum.

Completed Critique Royal Marine 200mm Marksman Mtp

I've uploaded an A4 sample from my MTP trousers for you. This is 'as is' without any colour correction. Hope this helps anyone wanting to have a go... I've got the 1/16th sniper to try it on when work permits...

Brilliant rendition of MTP (just compared it to my own). Did you manage to paint 'straight from the tube' or did you have to custom mix colours?

Open Book Sovereign 2000 (s2k) British Dispatch Rider (italy) 1/35th Scale

Background This is not my usual subject preference or scale, however, I have bought this figure, together with the Bronco Models "Triumph 3HW" Motorcycle set in honour of my late father-In-Law who served as a Dispatch Rider and later as his GOC's outrider. He was Coldstream Guards 1941-46...

    Figure Damaged At Euro

Why would I be kidding? After investing hours in painting and construction and the risks of transporting the finished product to a show only to have it broken by some ham-fisted individual or some thoughtless goon getting too close to the table with a camera bag? Plus, it's not about pure...
