WIP Almost finished. Roman armoured infantryman 243 AD

I didn't read what you wrote correctly. Masterclass took over from Marco Luchetti .But I recall having seen an announcement that they stop too. You might want to take a look on the Art Girona website. They seem to have quite a stock left. Cheers Paul

WIP Almost finished. Roman armoured infantryman 243 AD

Masterclass took over. But I don't know if they continued all of the 90 mm. I don't know if you are interested in Romans but if you can find it buy the Gladiator Laruccia did for Soldiers. He looks a bit stupid in the boxart but I can assure you it is a fantastic figure. If you brwose through my...

WIP Almost finished. Roman armoured infantryman 243 AD

Soldiers 54 mm. Adriano Laruccia. I just completed attaching the right arm. As can be seen in one of the pics some filling was necessary. This will be followed by retouching. Attaching the left arm and scutum will be the last stage. Painted in oils. Bronze parts, the lorica Hamata and the...

    Scottish Gentleman (pegaso 75 mm)

An example of how a military set (Mackenzie)runs at the back. What can be seen from the vertical pattern on the back of the kit depends on the set. Back & front

    Scottish Gentleman (pegaso 75 mm)

Nice paint job Marc. Difficult tartan to paint. On the back the horizontal weave patterns always show. The vertical ones are mostely obstructed from view beacause of the pleats. They would hardly be visable if at all.(y)

    WIP Russian Infantryman 1713

I am sure she will be ok and the Tsipouro & the goats will be waiting for you. Consider your self lucky as far as the prospect of what you'll be drinking is concerned. I have to make do with locally produced Rakija (from the garden shed) that seems to be freely available all over the Balkans...

    FeR Miniatures (Spain) - News

Its 'edelman' and not 'edelmann' . And there is no need to write it with a capital 'E' . So the correct title would be: 'Nederlandse edelman'. ;)

    Alexandros out scale

Most Alexandros 54 mm's are closer to 65 or maybe even a bit larger. Personally I don't give a toss. What matters to me is that their Classical Antiquity range is sculpted by God (aka Laruccia) :D:D;)

    Looking for advice

As a Dutchman I can't imagine why someone would want to visit Amsterdam in the first place. Horrible, chaotic place. You are always at risk of breaking you neck over the hordes of tourists:D Visit a smaller provincial town like Utrecht instead. Just a 30 minutes railway journey from Amsterdam...

    WIP Decurio Equites Legionis updated

Hello all, Some pics of Pegasos 75 mm Decurio Equites in progress. Have to say this figure gave me a lot of trouble. Probably because I had an old cast. As you can see from the pics I resculpted detail on the helmet (padding/embossing) and gave him a pair of trousers. The lorica squamata was...
