Because of the mirrors you appear in the image, can you not use a sheet of paper with a hole cut out for your lens to go through, that way you will not appear in them and it wont detract from the scene... interesting concept, love the keyhole idea too :)

Re: 200mm Maurice Corry US Paratrooper Right arm is now on! Knife on and gun painted, got the barrel on the wrong end and cut off the trigger lol, was lucky as still not hardened so managed to correct and make new trigger from some flash that is thinner and looks the part, will up some pics...

if you could get a wire mesh of the right shape could you not lie it flat, scrape say magic sculp over it, let it dry then push them out?

And you could always use the dimensions off another model, large scale, artists shops sell wooden posable models used by painters :)

Marc, you could do with a little wire running from the box on his left shoulder up to the rear of his headset, the sticky out bit on the top of the box is the connector, the one on the bottom then runs round the back of him and into his radio, see pic link below................ superb job on...

Re: 200mm Maurice Corry US Paratrooper Couple of updates and natural light used as suggested, much more happier with the result, shows it more "as is" so have deleted the others. Boots painted, holster worked on, trousers altered to give a newer look to them and break up the overall colour...

Smudger, having exactly the same problem........ What I have found though is these which are from a 3d printshop, I do not know if they will work as they are 50 cal, but 1/12 or 1/16 in scale. And have been thinking about ordering some to see if they are viable...

Total long shot here, Accurate Armour do a 1/15th Scorpion tank in their range, looking at the pictures it appears to have some on it...... could you not try them to see if they could do some as a stand alone cast...
