Hi Mark, Not sure of the fella's name, but Firestorm Models sponsored several kits for outstanding work in the comp, and this was one of the recipients. Was a very well done vignette Ben

    Rocco

Finished this piece last week. Its a limited edition resin kit from Figone where the Orc is approx. 54mm. This would have to be one of the most spectacular sculpted kits I have had the pleasure to paint up, the detail is outstanding. It wasn't the easiest kit to put together, with some bad fit...

I have finally got around to putting a link to the pics I took from our West Australian Model show. WIP Critique Murmillo bust 1/12th Scale

Except for the colour of the shield, you can hardly tell them apart despite the two different mediums. Congrats to you for mastering both oils and acrylics. Do you find one easier than the other????? Ben

Completed Critique Hidalgo - Spanish Noble - 17th Century

Beautiful work with some stunning patterns on his cloak. I love that pot plant, the mould/green towards the base of it makes it I reckon, looks as though its been there for a while Ben

    The red knight

I too like the flesh and metals, great work. If I can add a critique, the red cloak looks a little one toned, a deeper shadow or two would make this one "pop" a lot more.. Red is a super hard colour to get right, but you are the right track Ben

    Completed Old Dragon

Looking very good, great likeness to the old Targaryan. Love the weave in his rough hewn cloak Ben

Nuts Planet Roman Legionary "The Aquila"

Hey Mick, this is by far the most impressive piece that you have shown here. The face and eyes are truly outstanding and the texturing adds some real depth. If you wanted quick pointer, darken the metals with another wash or two. It could be the photos, but they look a bit overpowering and...

101st Airborne, 1/10 scale resin from Nuts Planet

I really like the colours you have used for the uniform and over all this is a really good take on this kit. If you are wanting a few pointers here is what I would concentrate on in future busts in this scale. I like the colour and tones of his skin, but I think you could punch in a few more...

Completed Critique War Photographer, 1971 - Life Miniatures

I love the way you have used the light on this piece, gives it a more dramatic "spotlight" feel, and is definitely perfect for this being a photographer and all. Ben
