    GERMAN SS OFFICER 1944

Santa and the Waffen SS, that's a combination that I never saw coming. It certainly is interesting though. Is the pic altered with some kind of imaging program? Or did you actually paint it red?

    Darkness - model disaster

Sorry Craig. It happens to all of us. I think I have spent as much time stripping figures as I have painting. ;)

    Starting out in the hobby

My first kit was a Monogram snap together Hind helicopter, my first figures were Dragon's HG division.

    WW2 German Flame Thrower

There is a set of Draon figures, 6024, that includes a guy with a flame thrower. From Ron Volstad's painting, he seems to be wearing the standard uniform. I believe that Dragon includes figures wearing some kind of protective outfit in their sdkfz 251 flame thrower half track kit.

    GERMAN SS OFFICER 1944

Looks great! Is it just me, or is he wearing an eyepatch? If so, very nice touch, gives it some character.

    Idea

I'm thinking about doing a sculpture of Stitch. I'll start in a few weeks when I'm home on vacation, think I'll use magicsculp.

    What color could this be?

Seeing that the jacket has the large pocket on it, I would go with reed green.

    Agincourt

Hey guys, can anybody recommend some good books on the battle of Agincourt? I'm doing a research paper in an upper level history course on Henry V and the battle. Figured someone here might know something that could help. Thanks.

    Chief Joseph rides to surrender

Looks really great. A question for you, how do you go about sculpting a flat? It seems that it would be a bit different from a regular figure. Easier? Harder? Maybe you could do a SBS sometime, it would be interesting to see the process.

    New pre-painted figures from Dragon

Yeah, I've seen those in the local hobby shop. At least the Germans anyway. They seem to be painted and assembled figures from Dragon's 1/35 kits. They are sold individually, you have to collect the whole set. Not really interested in those, but that Little Round Top set looks cool. I'd...

    SS Officer

Looking great! Those Jaguar figures are my favorites, which set is this one from?

    Verlinden December releases.

Hmmm...Something looks weird about the German, like maybe his legs are too small for the body? Or the waist is too low? Just looks weird too me for some reason.

    Alpine Miniatures - LSSAH Tanker
