    Teutonic knight finished!

Wow, what a great paint job, those flags scare me but you have painted the freehand superbly. I saw this figure and was tempted to buy, but it would of been nice to have an open helmet option too. I'm not sure if you can buy the heads separately?

120mm GW Giant (Not for the faint hearted)

Thanks for the feedback, I'm feeling quite enthusiastic about this one now :D i'll carry on highlighting, and see how he turns out. The bottom lip needs sorting and I will do the beard so there's some colour changes. I think I've made the paint a bit too thick in my hurry to get him done, but...

120mm GW Giant (Not for the faint hearted)

Thanks chaps, much appreciated, but I need my work taking apart, be critical, its the only way i'll learn. Do you think I should add some green and purple to the flesh, I will of course give him a 5 o' clock shadow and some dusting round the back off the head.

120mm GW Giant (Not for the faint hearted)

Thanks Guy, I've left off the extra's so I can get to the flesh parts, but needless to say, the cow hanging from his belt, the front skirt to hide his manhood, the top knot, and an extra bag from the ogres set, will be attached as soon as I cant get this right, oh and the little fella trying to...

120mm GW Giant (Not for the faint hearted)

Slight delay in me getting a proper figure, so I started this one today instead, its only a GW Giant 95mm to eyes, so if he was upright would probably be a 120mm. Appologies for the large amount of skin, and him looking simular to some of us on here  :o :D not me of course I'm using the...

Primers and Paints and Figure makes, help please

Thanks for the input thus far, I think I'm sorted on paint, and primer now, its what figure to paint. I just love the detail on the 90mm upwards figures :D  but cant justify the cost, especially as I probably will mess it up on my first try. Those Pegaso 54mm look good, thanks...

Primers and Paints and Figure makes, help please

Thanks Rocky, and Tony, I'm going to stick to acrylics in the short term, as I've not had experience in oils, although I do use W&N series 7 brushes. Primer is an important point, still not sure which to use? As to the figures, I like a Romeo 90mm crusader, this one...

I'm new here and interested in painting Biggun's

Well, this is what I'm not sure of yet, I like the look of the Andrea 1/10 scale templar bust, but then I'm thinking should I go up the scales gradually? I've always like painting faces, I was told by a great 28mm painter, (the late Ian Stables)that the face was most important and gave the...
