I know this question is a difficult one, but could anyone please suggest a colour or colours that will give an authentic look to French Napoleonic Blue. I use Andrea Vallejo GW paint, but am willing to invest further, if it works. Thanks in advance

you can unwarp the staff with hot water, not too hot though. straighten it whilst hot, after 10 seconds it will stay in that shape. Hope that helps
