Good to see some WW1 busts coming through, great review.

You read an item in a modelling magazine and it's I used this colour blah blah and you buy it thinking it will improve my painting and just sits there gathering dust.

Busts for me, found I enjoyed painting the faces then started to get bored with the legs and boot areas. The quality of busts now is phenomenal and the variation suits my pallet. I have only one full bodied figure in the grey draw which has yet to painted yet which is a Royal Regiment of...

Strewth....I thought I had a few extra oils but that is/was some collection:)

The barrel looks to short...

The skin tones and eyes are phenomenal as in every other parts of the figure.

I use acrylics with touch of water mixed in, if the eyes aren't right which most cases they are not first time then I remove and start again...bit ocd on eyes.

I tend to use rounds, when painting the Verlinden way I used the flats to pull the paint off.

Nice to see something different...

Wasn't it the case where generators also kept breaking down or couldn't supply enough power so giving power cuts, so no radar then...

That's quality, the work that's gone into the dress...amazing.

As above, used to pull out anything to do with figures when purchased, file it and bin the rest.
