I read in an earlier thread "Whatever happened to?" about one person who had a bad experience (health related) with the putty they were using. I have always wondered about the use of these epoxies and other sculpting mediums. Do you typically use them with bare hands? Are there some that are...

Very good book. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a great "how-to".

I'd second Bob's recommendation for the Osprey book "Painting Fallschirmjager figures" by Jaume Ortiz. Because of the narrow subject matter it does not immediately pop out as a painting reference book. But having read several "how-to" painting books, it really was one of the best for clearly...

Hmm... I all but gave up trying to work with acrylics for washes. I tried many mediums, but never found anything that worked well and ended up going back to my "foolproof" oils thinned with odorless thinner over a gloss clear coat. I'll have to give Future a try in this application. Thanks for...
