This is just another question, not a necessarily a suggestion. Would the Vallejo matt medium work to keep the shine away? I don't hear of people using it much, but was always curious. I'm an oil painter, but am interested in trying acrylics (have Cartacci's book on order).

Re: Scales - I think it's a conspiracy by the figure companies. We are paying big dollars for 90mm figures when really we should be paying less money for 75mm figures of subjects that just happen to be a bit on the tall side. :)

The word "stunning" can sometimes get a bit over-used, but not in this case. Amazing work - all I can say is I'm glad it's a fictional character!
