    Templar Ironspine

That looks very nice. I like the polished look a bit better than paint but if you do enoug hexperiment with the stuff, you can get it to look good also (mainly with the plactic kits). Each to his own i guess. Daniel

Figure manufacturers, any interst in this bust?

I haven't seen the shown in a while now. If this does go to market, senior will probably be saying he never looked so young lol. He just looks a little bit "wrinkless". Daniel

    Andrea U-boot captain

Wow, thats looking good. The one thing i found funny about this is that so far on this is that when i had a look at his hands i though he was wearing thin black gloves but with a closer look i saw his hands wern't painted yet lol. Daniel

    Young people in the hobby.

Well as Tony may know (or may not), The SMCWA (Scale Modellers Club of Western Australia) has got thier own club house now and that is almost purley devoted to passing the hobby on the people my age and younger. About a year and a half ago they started a program to teach kids how to build...

The gnome of arrows + process

Very nice sculpting. I know you have proberbly said this but, are you making a wargaming series or something? The other thing i wanted to ask is are you going to paint this little guy one day? I think it will look cool and remember, nobody can you have the wrong colours with fantasy :) Daniel

    what's best

All im going to say about acrylics now is that they almost always need to get thinned (unaless they are those citadels washes that could even be thinned a bit more) with Distilled water. It makes the paint for workable for almost every style of painting (something that Tony taught me). Hope...

    Bunny! (warning adult content)

If you really think about it, Plastic models are just a small replica of a person. They are just plastic which resembles a person or an item. Out of all honesty, it does seem a bit stupid to cover anything up. Some people may find it offensive but others don't. It's almost like getting peeved...

    Lady Furry

I think thats because shes supposed to be a where-wolf like figure (just not the aggressive type) :p. This does look interesting and i think it would look alot more when it gets painted. Daniel

    Another 54mm SEIL Viking..........

Wow, thats a nice looking figure :) I wonder if they still sell it because when i bought my 1st seil (about 2 years ago at WASMEx (Western Australia Scale Modellers Expo) I was having a hard time picking between this and the Thespian Hoplite. If i'm lucky i might manage to pick one up since Seil...

    what's best

Well just for the sake of awnsering the question of where i got them from, i get them from Stanbridges. They have a good selection and the website to it is: http://www.stanbridges.com.au/index.cfm/about As i have looked, i haven't seen much of the Vallejo range on the website. Maybe i am looking...

    what's best

Well, both oils and acrylics have thier advantages and disadvantages. They both take a fair bit of practice to master (i've been told many years inw which i haven't yet ;) ) Use what you feel more comfortable with. As for reccomendations, I like using Vallejo and Citadel acrylics. Thats my...

the latest little person off my desk

Nice painting but i do also think that the flash tends to get rid of alot of the detail. If your good with cameras i would reccomend turing to ISO up and the appeture down (if you got the setting to appeture priority) and try taking the picture like that. Lately i have been trying to take...
