    1:35 Australian infantry APPEAL

i can't believe i missed this thread. If it's not too late can i still apply for the petition? It would be nice to see some Australian soldiers because we did play a part in the war but i think over time we are getting more recognised in modelling (in general with tanks and planes etc) and i...

I think they would have been happy with with one off piece. It turned out very nicely. Daniel

Using GW colors on larger scales

im the same, i use what ever i think will do better. Only thing i have realised is that over here is that the vellejo paints cost 4 cents more but they don't dry out as quickly as the GW paints.

Thanks Tony for the info on the Super sculpey and your Monash is looking great. I've been busy this weekend and haven't done anything on any of my figures. I should do some and post an update later. ;) Just for your painting question, i read on the website which you said to get super sculpey...

    Frank-Miniatures present

Wow... so realistic and it definently shows lots of motion going on. I honestly think figures are supposed to capture a scene and this one defiently has. Good on ya carl for making it is such a realistic pose. Daniel

    General Monash bust 1/5th scale

He's looking better and better each time you post him. You can already see the difference in how much more sturdier he looks. Good job ;) Just one thing I realised when i saw your old Monash, he literally does have some blood on his hat, I think literally blood sweat and tears went into the...

Thanks heaps, I think I will buy some poly clay then and some green stuff. I have seen on coolminiornot.com that they sell the green stuff and i think i might get that from there and I will ask tony later where he got his poly clay from.

Using GW colors on larger scales

    Roman Officer 1st A.D

In my opinion, you have done an AWESOME paint job, especially on the face. The idea of this model is unusual but not one bit dis- intersting at all. i love it. Daniel

Alright, since ive read you both have used both 2 part epoxy sculpting mediums and poly clay, what would you think is better to start learning on? Iv'e made an agreement with myself that im going to finish what i have started so far so just until then, i'm not ganna' have a go at sculpting but...

Cool, it's good to see how different people sculpt differently (mainly the differences between you and Tony :D). I like the theme since I haven't seen any cyborgs yet (apart from the warhammer stuff). Daniel

    cleopatra article

That was interesting, I aolways portraited her to be thin and all but thats what we have been told. It's the 1st time i have heard of the writings about how she looked. As i said before, it was intersting and it defienently would be good info if anybody ever wanted to sculpt her. Nobody really...

    General Monash bust 1/5th scale

Just a quick post before i go to school. He's coming togethor now :D the thing i have to admit about what i liked about your other monash is his uniform. General Monash bust 1/5th scale

Alright.. just a little bit more crtasism then. As i can see on the pics, the middle of the hat bit comes to a bit of a point since 4 bits of fabric are sewn togethor. As i said in my 1st post, my dads in the navy and it's something i have realised on the (as i say) "weirdness" on how these...

    General Monash bust 1/5th scale

Hes looking good, i wanna see what happens next :D. I thought for some reason that my critasism offended you and thats why you didn't post for a bit. But seeing his face now i can see what you have done :D Daniel
