right so here is a little(?) study i am on at the moment, Clubhouse are having a 'Jam' themed on Cyborgs ect. i mixed the Teletubbies with a bit of Westworld and other stuff i guess. i like Elves in films so her 'face' is quite Elfin.
i'll go pic by pic and chat if you interested. Tony, first pic is for you and shows a method of building a head and marking up the features. i have several i use and am happy to share.
The figure is 1/7 and 249mm without hair and was made initially to practise my proportion Cannons which i tend to lose during build up so i am going back to carving back. I also hate Knees!! but am improving by sculpting parts of the human i.e - a leg. the 'head' is 28mm and the figure is 8 heads.
the head is a core of pure SS firm over a loop of 4mm aliminium wire, i soften my mix to say 60/firm to 40/SSculpey pink and begin to shape the cranium; i build the 'dome' at and around the back and add a flat 'mask' piece to the front -shaped to match the facial shape- then blend and mark it up as above. more to come..... regards - tim
