Review Armand Bayardi Resin Acessories for Dios and Vignettes - Michigan Toy Soldier Blog

Armand Bayardi is a craftsman and his products are so useful and very reasonable. I've been dealing with him and using his stuff for a very long time.

    Giant Guns...!

Firing something that size in a boat brings to mind an image of a Warner Brothers' cartoon of Elmer Fudd taking a shot at Bugs Bunny - and the resulting chaos.

The Lost Battalion web site is up and running (finally)

Nice to see you back, Scott. I've used the 90 and 120mm heads and mannequins for various projects, as well as some of the 120mm figures. I'm sure you'll be hearing from me. Best wishes for success. Jim

Questions on how to work with metal figures

Chris There's all kinds of YouTube videos on painting figures - mostly the War Hammer miniatures, but occasionally there'll be videos painting 54, 75 and larger figures and busts. A lot of them deal with acrylics, but you might find some using oils, if that's your aim. Be patient, don't be...

Questions on how to work with metal figures

Like resin figures, a swipe with filler (I use Apoxie Sculpt, but there are other putties out there) to fill the gaps and seams. I...

    Pathos Creatrions - News

That's some nice and detailed sculpting. Painted, it'd be a real show-stopper. I might have add 'Tink' to the gray army, if I don't have to put a second mortgage on the house.

    Vendor for flats?

Jack at 'Little Tin Soldier' is great to deal with. I believe 'The Red Lancers' has some flats as well. Chuck's another good person to deal with. At the Chicago Show's 40th anniversary show, I picked up a nice flat from him; the first one I ever attempted as a present for my wife. Deal with...

    "The Black Swan" (Tavern) Bartender

Nice work, John. You're a braver man than I to tackle such a conversion of a metal figure. I'm awaiting the final scene.
