the figure is very well cast and there is a very few work to assembly it.
After primed it with GWS skull white I begin to work the metallic part with vallejo acrylics and oils for the shadows.
the clothes received their first colours in oils...

It's the excellent mameluk from Métal Modèles (ref MM73).
It take me time to paint it because I don't find a right harmony colour for the mameluk.
The scenery is scratchbuilt with plaster and Plasticard.
Another great pleasure time to make it...

Like every time with alpine, a great great pleasure to paint.
I use as usual oils on an acrylic white undercoat.

I only apply thin layers of oils and let it drying 2 or 3 days. I know the work is longer but that's why I have a lot of figures in progress to always have something to paint.
Yes Pedro, you're right, the collar should be a dark green.
For the buttons I have searched differents ways to paint them, I notice your advice for the next one:thumb:
