After many hours painting ammo, I cant decide if I like it

I'll need to go over it and do a few tidy ups and then a touch of Klear to tie it all together I think ...

Just that grenade to do now and it's almost finished!

Finished!

I have decided to call this finished, it's mounted and a quick waft with the hair dryer got the ammo belts hanging properly

I don't like how the smock came out but you can't have everything

Excellent work on this FJ bust. Love the face!

My only critique is that I've never seen a FJ "bonesack" (jump smock) in LW Blue-gray...it should be in either olive-green or camo (splinter or marsh pattern).

I would highly recommend Robert Kurtz's book "German Paratroops" which has color photos of original FJ uniforms and equipment.
