Poll: How important is historical accuracy to you?

Exactly. Malkie and kevinpdx are of course right about the guesswork that is involved with pre-modern figures, but, as an example, there are plenty of tomb effigies of high/late medieval regents and knights so we know more or less exactly what their armour looked like, can imagine the colourful...

Jeffshiu's Miniatures 120mm 'CONVOY' Fallschirmjager on BMW motorcycles, Rome, Italy, 1943/44

Sorry but could you elaborate? So I can't just order one but have to be whitelisted or something? Never got a figure of this manufacturer but was planning to in the near future.

I've nothing to add, it's top notch work. Particularly like the subtle weathering on the suitcases. Cyrill

New Release "Roland de Bruges de La Gruuthuse died at Agincourt 1415" 54mm by OlimpYa Models

It's great and I wish there were more "casualty" figures like that. Perry Miniatures have a number for sale which they used for their grand Agincourt diorama in the Royal Armouries in Leeds but only in 28mm unfortunately...

    Old Cow-boy

Great work. He played John Buford in 1993's "Gettysburg", it's a great film even if you're not specifically an ACW buff.

    Best Brushes for Acrylic Paints

I started with a set of the GW "layer" brushes and they did their job but frankly I wouldn't buy their technical "drybrush" etc. brushes as they are overpriced and any cheap makeup brush will do the job better...same goes for Army Painter Now I use the Da Vinci "Miniature Maestro" series...

    Owain Glyndŵr.Bust 1/10

No, with the plain bascinet option you can easily shave off the lions and paint it as any knight from Agincourt, Shrewsbury or even continental Only the great helm with crest is based on a contemporary visual source on this specific person (his seal)

Thanks Nap, they are great but different subject/a century difference. There's also a mounted version of Owain Glyndŵr by Pegaso in 54mm.
