That's great Simon. Plenty of action now in both horse and the leaning 'torso'. The neck muscles' deliniation when painted will further enhance the forward motion and atmosphere. Enjoying your build a lot.

Cheers Kim, you have more faith in my painting of horses than I do. I shall do my best but I'm still learning, or actually relearning how to do this.

Cheers Simon

Loving that horse.

Cheers W, as with the painting of the horse I'm still learning about animation of them, but it's good fun and nice to hear my efforts meet with approval from fellow modellers. How are you doing on this front now a days?

Cheers Simon

Long dark nights and no table time so my hobby has been stalled for now, will hopefully return back to it in the Spring.

This is indeed looking really good. My only regret about this project is that I will have to put up with your photos of the completed thing until I see it in the flesh at the next Bugle Call...... 😉 😁
Outrageous.... OK yeah my photography is terrible I know, it would be worse with a proper camera with moving parts and settings!

Cheers though, it's getting there now the first figure is built and yes I'll be sure to take it to BC next year!

👍cheers Simon

Heh, every time I see this title in the forum index, I think of Sammy Hagar!
Prost!

Cheers Brad, Sabaton on occasion but mostly I have Planet Rock, a great digital radio station, on so I get most sub genres both old and new through the day. Sabaton however does suit the figures rather well, or Iron Maidens "The Trooper".

Cheers Simon

Sabaton,Amon Amarth,Powerwolf,Warlock,Savatage,Q5,Quartz to name a few but also The Builders and the Butchers and Bluegrass and Banjo from the Apallachia (still counts as metal) and of course all the metal classics with a soft spot for NWOBHM.

Oda.

My preference is more tilted towards the blues but I do like my metal. So far next year we have tickets for Iron Maiden, Judas Priest with Alice Cooper and The Australian Pink Floyd. Add to that a one day festival (Stonedead) and a few younger bands it's shaping up to be an interesting year. All we need is a mixed figure modelling and rock music festival, combine with October Fest and that should cover all bases!

You're a man of taste Oda, you should give Pagan Altar a listen if you don't know them

See, I listen to polka music more these days. Everything is a song about drinking beer and dancing with pretty girls. Everyone is happy-Happy Louie, Happy Jack, Jolly Joe Timmer. There's even a polka with the incongruous title, "Suicide Polka", don't know why, but it still sounds pretty upbeat. Makes me wish I were Polish.
It's popular here in PA, where a lot of Poles, Slovaks, Germans, Hungarians, emigrated in the 19th century to dig coal or work in the steel mills. And it's the music my grandparents' generation listened to. They were poor and worked hard, but they were happy despite that, and sang a lot.
Prost!
