After mixing the paint with the water and aplly the paint on the figure the paint join the paint in bubbles, like it have elasticity and not cover the surface. Can anyonehelp me ? Tks

I forgot to say: I personally prefer cristal resin although it is "smelly" i think the result more realistic.

You can paint the base with acrylics and let it dry. Before this you should put Scotch (i think it is the name, it is a tape with low tack) tape around the base and inside whith a brush put white glue on the union of the tape with base and let it well dry, this process prevent posible escape...
