Hello Folks
This is the latest project by Tommi Worton and I which was superbly sculpted for us by Nello Rivieccio.
Gérard was a notable commander throughout the napoleonic wars serving with distinction including Spain and the Russian Campaign. During the Hundred Days he was IV Corps Commander and was placed under the orders of Marshal Grouchy who was ordered to seek the retreating Prussian Army after the Battle of Ligny on 16th June. Gérard famously implored Grouchy to 'March to the sound of the Guns' at Waterloo, a request declined by Grouchy who continued his search for the Prussians. 'If only....' Grouchy's 33,000 men made contact with the Prussian rearguard and fought at Wavre where Gérard was wounded.
We are looking to release this model at The White Rose Figure World North model show Saturday 8th June 2024. It will be held at the Galtres Centre, Market Place, Easingwold, North Yorkshire, YO61 3AD.
The model will be available in the following scales;
54mm
75mm
120mm
200mm
A 1/9th (200mm) scale bust will also be available.
Prices to be announced but if anyone is interested in pre ordering the kit please email me ONLY on [email protected] stating the scale you require along with your country of residence for shipping purposes or if it is for collection at the Easingwold Show. I will update you on prices as soon as I know.
At the moment the kit is not available on any website.
