The wind of revolution
Back from Monte San Savino with this splendid torso in a suitcase, I could not resist.
I have tried to capitalize on (with little success) the wonderful lecture by Massimo Pasquali in the Monte San Savino and his valuable advice that you can find in the book he runs on soldatinari.it
the piece is still in progress, there is much to be done ..
lights and shadows must be better delineated ...
the back is still too ill-defined ...
the reds are still sketchy ...
oil, fortunately, is still wet ...
In short, there is still time to "lose" on the bust
I tried to give a uniform tone throughout the piece using a lot of purple on the face (to represent a cold man) that the shadows of the tissues.
See you soon!
