“Tentpegging” Converted Airfix Bengal Lancer

Going back to my youth with this one. I always thought it would be a simple task to put the Airfix Bengal Lancer on the Airfix Scots Grey’s horse. Fast forward fifty(ish) years and I’ve finally done it, and no, it wasn’t simple at all.
These old kits present many challenges, but I’m pleased to have got this done, if only because it means I can move on to something a bit bigger!

OOh I like that. This figure for some reason is almost totally hollow (probably because they used the same master to make the 1-12th scale one), so very difficult to convert.
I'm a big fan of these Airfix figures and I have this one in my grey army, I never built it my own youth but it's in the queue

Very nice Stuart, I can imagine how much cutting and filling you had to go through to change the riders pose. A cracking figure I really like it.
