Thanks for your reply, and thanks for the photos above which look to me to be more representative of your work than the ones you posted at the top of the thread. Sometimes the more you magnify a photo, the more it can distort what we see - good or bad. And I think your original photos made the figure look "worse" from the neck down and "better" from the neck up - almost as if two different people had painted it (which isn't to say it is in any way "bad", just that it was perhaps magnified a bit too much, if that makes sense :confused: ).

Looking at these new ones though, the entire figure looks a lot more coherent, it would appear that there is indeed some very delicate skill with a brush at play here, and in view of that I am quite willing to eat a slice of humble pie and admit that my initial comment was a tad harsh. Fair play to you for clarifying the matter, and well done on a fine piece of work! (y)
