Started work on another excellent Sculpt by Sid, and printed by Mark.
Just base colours applied with acrylics, next to start on his 'good' side with the oils;

Got some oils on his good side. Off into the dryer overnight, then I can add some more highlights to his skin tone.

His skin tone isn’t as dark as the image.

More tones added to his skin, eye painted in, hair painted - still wet. Started on his gory side.

This is good work but rather unsettling...... Quite a challenge to paint and you are handling it well.

Good update , difficult to paint such differences on the flesh ....very gory as per subject
