Superb sculpting

So, is it a cornac sitting on the neck ?

sorry no shield, he needs his two hands, one hook in each, a short one and a long one, he does not fight, he try to control the animal, thats enough work for a man
and he will sit with his legs as much as can be, like on a horse
and what ? it's a cartoon elefant, the guy is standing in a "neck-turret" ?
would be happy to see more pictures so I could understand the position

Hello Mr. Mirofsoft

Thank you so much for your comment... Truly preciated...

About the photos... I ask you apologies, but its what I said before... A few days after Euro I will put all the photos of Boudica and teh Elephant... Once agaim I ask you apologies for any invonvenince...

About the driver use both hands... We have some books that have the shield in the hand... Others not... I think this something that its dificult to say, in my opinion of course... In a battle a guy without protection? It will be a easy target... We did a hindi driver, and there are strong connection in ancient times hindid forces with the shield... We try to create a very good figure... But this is something dificult to tell, because there arent register in that time... that time is 'empty'...

About to be a Cartoon elephant... I think its far away from that... We ask advise to a friend (veterinary) to help us with that... I like the result, and I think its very similar a original... This is just a Bust of the elephant, nothing elese... And the driver is a full figure in 1/12 scale... I ask you apologies if in some way the figure disapoint you... I can assure you that we will work hard to improve and to be better...

Thank you so much for your comment...

Thank you Sir.

Very well done Hugo; I think this is a very impressive looking piece of work. However, you probably know by now that I am not much of a fan of digital sculpts and it's not because they are not good; It's because it takes the tools that are used to sculpt away from the human hand. I'm sorry, but there is a special feeling if you really know art and sculpture, knowing someone that is flesh and blood made what you are painting (mistakes, and all ); makes it a little more challenging to make a finished piece. Yes, I know I'm old school probably because I'm old; but that's my feelings as I know you will eventually be successful if you continue to pursue your vision. As for me? I will probably only paint something that was sculpted with an artists' hand.
Best regards for continued success,
Wayne
