Hello all,
I´m planning to take this little fellow with me to Euromilitaire. It´s my first paint job in this scale, so it´s been a very difficult journey.
It needs some finishing steps , but what??
Cheers;

More work?

Hi.

To me, the painting of this figure is excellent , very clean. And that's probably where you can add a bit. I suppose the jacket in made of leather: I would put more life in the material, "weather" it in other words. I would certainly increase the contrast between the shadows in the foldings, and the surfaces which reflect the light, in order to give the impression that this item hasn't been bought an hour ago. Maybe some stains, or light marks on the leather...I would also work the face with more contrast. But that's just my feeling.
Once again, your painting work is extremely neat.
All the best

Dirtied...

Hi,
thanks for the comments. I´ve followed them like a slave. So more dirt and snow. Maybe I´ll still have to force me to smudge him more ;(

That´s looking good.
Much better with the staining and yet still a sense of restraint.
Snow on the boots looks very good.
Not forgetting that the coat could be a new replacement and being worn for the first time, I think a random stain would look good somewhere on the middle of the coat.

Spike.
