This is Copper State Models 1/32 3D printed resin Werner Voss figure and their previously released Wanderer motorcycle. Although the bike doesn't match the one in the 1917 photo of Voss (no headlight, horn, panniers, etc.) it does replicate the scene when a photographer took several pictures of him with his motorcycle and aircraft.

Both the motorcycle and figure were painted using Tamiya acrylics (airbrushed) and Vallejo Model Color acylics (brush painted). The Fokker F.1 was built a few years ago, an Encore kit that represents his triplane at the time.

Cheers,
Gary

Superb Gary, you did a fantastic job on the motorcycle, I still am bemused by how you managed to paint the details on the bike when most of the parts are already in place. The figure looks really good and the figure and bike really go well with the F1. Well done!!

Thanks for that Nigel. I did take some in-progress photos but after review they really didn't tell much of a story. As far as the paintwork on the motorcycle went, it was entirely airbrushed black, then I sprayed on the base colour of XF-81. The rest of the painting ended up being done with Vallejo acrylics and a very fine tipped paintbrush (Tamiya 87048 and Tamiya Pro II 87172 & 87173 which I was just trying out for the first time). There were lots of touch-ups involved...especially where I painted the tyres and engine. Although Alclad II paints are meant to be airbrushed, their Polished Brass was brushed onto some of the small details after taking a few drops and placing them in a bottle-cap. I also highlighted some of the metallic areas with a dry-brushing of silver enamel that had been toned down with a touch of black/raw umber oil paint. It all got a weathering of a greyish-dirt coloured mix of Tamiya acrylics from the airbrush. Pastel Chalks also were used on the tyres.
Cheers,
Gary
