Having several commissions for some 1/48 scale female figures-a WAAF, a WREN and some others-I found I really needed a female armature in the scale. So starting with my male armature bits (lots of carving involved here) I assembled this figure thinking I could use her when done for one of the commissioned figures as well as making a set of armature parts. The eventual use as an armature is the reason this figure, which will eventually be clothed, has so much of her anatomy done. My intention is to make a mold from her and chop up one of the castings to create the armature parts. It is just possible that I will then be able to use a second casting as is for a figure different from the one already planned, perhaps an American WAC to contrast with the British figures.
Materials; A+B putty tan (which I regret just a little as it doesn't show well in photos against the resin parts), gray A+B putty (sometimes marketed as GEM), Magic-Sculp, and green stuff added to the MS.
