Great piece of 3D printing.
Are there decals for the cockpit??
Marc
Hi Marc.
Hugo has said he is looking into the possibility of decals for the cockpit. I personally hope this is possible for a number of reasons not the least is my painting skills. All those dials. Also getting them correct in the right position.
Peter.

Hi Guys

I am looking into after market products as well but for now enjoy these pics ...a 1/32 nd model of a planey Spitfire thingy ..lol

Hi Guys ,

The pose looking ahead certainly shows the intensity of Bader in combat his eyes locked on an unseen enemy , the adrenalin pouring through his body .

As much adrenalin that is seething through Hugo's body

Hopefully we will see pilots in this position for other scales and other subjects ......

Marc, Peter,

In this scale some dials have diameter equals about 10 - 12mm. Frankly speaking they will look the best when done in form of photoetched parts with some transparent foil to simulate gauges glass. I have Tamiya Harley Davidson motorcycle kit in 1/6 scale, where the speedometer dial is provided in decal form and it does not look very impresive.
I am a realist, so I do not expect that such a photoetched dials will be included within the kit by default, regardless the fact that it would increase the price significantly, but for these very determined and enough advanced modellers this option is possible to do by yourself.

Hi Hugo

You've taken the hobby to the next level. this is an amazing piece.
Any chance of the aircraft to go with it. ( don't worry, only joking)

This is really something! Has certainly raised the bar a few levels!

As Nap says, perhaps a little bit of movement in the head? Bit static otherwise. Decals/transfers for the dials would be a huge bonus! Wheres his pipe??!!

Fantastic, very impressive. As it is in digital form you should give strong consideration to cast in 1/24, 1/32, 1/48, and 1/72 to monopolise the aircraft market, not sure if the superstructure would fit in the various kit manufacturer's model but the pilot on his own or in seat would be a great assecesory. Again very well done Hugo, look forward to seeing this at Telford.
Going up in a Mk 9 Spitfire very soon for my 60th birthday so Tally ho ! :woot:

Rob

Hello Peter...

My appollogies for The delay answer... Difficult day... Many work...

Im study The possibility to develop The decals... I was thinking, And what Ive Im mind is develop The decals separately... Many people want to paint The things And other prefer to put decals on. So what Ive in mind is... People want decals can buy The decals, And I dont need to increase The price... Im doing a big effort to put this model between 60 And 65 euros... But We have to see The 3D first... Always The some problem... Ive a 3D with extreme quality And with a Huge price.. Why I can have a 3D with extreme quality and excellent price? Lol... Lol... Lol...

Im waiting in in Teldford...
Big ugg and take care... Lol...
Hugo

Thanks for the reply Hugo,I'm sure that helps a lot of people. I for one would pay the extra for the decals.
