I just want add what a magnificent model this is...a real work of art. I received mine for my birthday, so still a work in progress. The one thing that would really finish it off, would be a set of decals for the stencil markings and the various small plates that were scattered around the inside of a spitfire cockpit....If these were produced, is there any way of letting me know....this would turn a 9 out of 10 model into a definate full 10/10....

Hello Mr. Alan

I think I'll will make my own decals for the various stencil markings and all those little placards that are on all the various items in the cockpit. Luckily these are available in 1/24th scale, which if doubled in size will produce as near as possible 1/10th scale decals...as my dear old Dad (who like me was also a professional model maker) used to say " It's not how you get yourself in the sh*t...it's how you get yourself out of it! "...a phrase I have lived by in all my 48 year career as a model maker...

Hi Hugo...I've broken the flying goggles while I was cutting out the centre trying to fit clear lenses...have you got a couple of spares of these that I could purchase from you?..

Work so far....the fit of the parts are so good, that you can dry fit all the components with no trouble. I've used rubber bands just for ease of handling but are really not needed. Always a good sign of a well made pattern making... image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg
