Hi, all
I've been away from here almost a year.
Currently I've been working on one of my private projects, "Kettenhund", which is 1/9 ESCI Zündapp KS750 vignette project.

This is an experimental "mixed" project, that I do traditional sculpting with clay, digital modeling & 3D printing, scratch-building parts and detailing with old-school plastic cards, etc.

First I was thinking post pics in "sculpting" section but it's not only sculpting so I will post progress here.

Thanks a lot Carl, Hello ask40000 :)

Steve, the figure needs more cleanups but it is 90% done. I sure will post more progress.

Hi Mike,

I'm glad you like this project! I use your 1/9 SS officer as an ideal 1/9 model reference all the time while sculpting this project.

Of course I know Bill Hearne's work, I only saw it in Shep Paine's book, and it's the first complete 1/9 side car vignette I have ever seen.
I thought it's a shame that there's not so many 1/9 figure vignette with ESCI 1/9 sidecars which is long-run big hit model.
That's why I decided to sculpt a rider for it. :)

This gets better and better, dog is a great idea for the sidecar.
It can be a it tricky getting the figures to sit nicely on these kits, I found the bikes are a little off scale compared to 1/9 figure anatomy when I did mine. Looks like you overcame this well with your figure.

Oh yes, fitting and to make "look good and natural" was the hardest thing. Are these bikes a bit smaller or bigger? or mis-scaling?
